Tulsa Woman Killed In Two-Car Wreck

Rachelle L. Hudson was a passenger in a vehicle that rear-ended a pickup at about 5:37 p.m. Thursday. She died at the scene, troopers report.

TULSA, OK -- A 30-year-old Tulsa woman was killed in a two-car collision on Interstate 244 at State Highway 11.

Rachelle L. Hudson was a passenger in a vehicle that rear-ended a pickup at about 5:37 p.m.

Heath M. Hendrickson, 28, was driving a 1990 Nissan Maxima eastbound on I244 a pickup in front of him slowed for traffic ahead. Hendrickson was treated with minor injuries at St. John Hospital in Tulsa. Hudson died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the pickup, 40-year-old Craig Boatman of Broken Arrow, was treated and released at the scene with very minor injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say they are investigating the cause of the accident and Hendrickson's condition at the time of the wreck.

The driver and passenger of the Nissan were not wearing seat belts, and the vehicle was equipped with air bags. Boatman was wearing a seat belt, according to the OHP report.
