TULSA, OK -- Kum and Go convenience stores are celebrating the summer of '59 by selling gas for just a $1.59. The promotion to mark their 50th anniversary drew a big crowd at their store on South Riverside on Tuesday morning.
The cheap gas wasn't the only good deal. Inside, customers found 59-cent food and drink specials.
Kum and Go will be selling cheap gas at a different location on Wednesday.
The announcement will be made before 7 a.m. on Tulsa radio station FM 92.1 KTBT.
The family-owned company began in 1959 in Iowa and has grown to more than 400 convenience stores in 12 states.
