Man Injured In Shooting, TPD Investigates

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa police officers were called Sunday to the 2900 block of South 98th East Avenue in response to shots fired.

Officers received the call at about 1:40 a.m.

Officers arrived to find one person had been shot in the leg, said Corporal Leverington of the Tulsa Police Department. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

The shooting is under investigation.

"There appears to be a big party going on and there's just random shots fired," Leverington said.

Leverington said officers are working to figure out who the shooter is.

It is unknown if the victim was at the party.
