TULSA, OK -- Security in Tulsa has changed drastically since the deadly school assault carried out in Columbine. During the past year, Tulsa Public Schools has even formed its own police force, a force which was expanded on Monday night.
The Tulsa Public Schools Police Department is now fully staffed with 15 officers. Its chief says his force is one that's become necessary in this post-Columbine world.
The three new officers have worked in units like homicide, narcotics, and robbery. They have more than a century of experience on Tulsa streets.
