TULSA, OK -- A routine traffic stop overnight in Tulsa by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol leads to the discovery of methamphetamine.

The traffic stop happened at 4 a.m. Tuesday near Admiral and Yale.

An OHP trooper pulled over a mini-van with two people inside. A search of the vehicle turned up the drugs.

The driver was taken to the Tulsa County jail.

A female passenger was questioned and released.

Troopers tell the News On 6, the mini-van belongs to the driver's mother.
