TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor is in Washington. She and Governor Brad Henry are hosting a reception for Oklahomans attending the Inaugural.
Mayor Taylor has met with President-elect Barack Obama before on issues facing Tulsa.
"President-elect Obama has made a commitment that he will have very direct access for municipalities to bring their problems to the White House and I look forward to having that voice," said Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor.
The Economy is likely the top concern Barack Obama faces as he enters the Oval Office.
One of his top advisors expressed frustration on Sunday with how the first $350 billion of stimulus money was spent.
"No one can really tell you exactly where the money went, how it was spent, it's not easy to follow even for people in government. And we have to deal with that," said David Axlerod, Senior Obama Advisor.
The Congress is working on a trillion dollar package, but Obama's advisors say he wants greater accountability in the process.
