SAND SPRINGS, OK -- A dangerous high speed police chase overnight lands one person in the Tulsa County jail.
The chase began in downtown Sand Springs early Monday, when police officers tried to stop a speeding Chevy Camero.
The driver took off at speeds reaching 100 miles per hour.
Sand Springs Police say the driver even ran a number of other motorists off the road.
The chase ended when the driver lost control and hit some trees at Shell Creek Road and 123rd West Avenue.
A passenger in the car tried to run off but was found and arrested.
The driver got away, but Sand Springs Police say they believe they know who he is.
