TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa business is bringing Christmas cheer to the less-fortunate.
Seasonal Concepts at 2249 South Phoenix Avenue is giving out about 25 free Christmas trees at Eugene Field School.
The company asked customers to donate old artificial trees they weren't using.
So now, instead of ending up in a landfill, they'll fill someone's home and possibly their heart with joy.
"When you have Christmas trees it brings the holiday spirit out; it reminds you that this time of year is supposed to be about giving and special," said Seasonal Concepts Manager Tara Boyd.
Last year, Seasonal Concepts just gave the trees to children at Eugene Field Elementary.
This year the company expanded the program to include people in the surrounding community.
Besides just getting a tree, workers at Seasonal Concepts is also offering tips to make the trees look great at home.
