UNDATED -- Making it to the big game.  OU will square off against the Florida Gators in BCS National Championship.  OSU is heading to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, while TU will play in Mobile, Alabama's GMAC Bowl.  So, what is the best way for fans to score a ticket?

There are still tickets available, but be ready to spend some big bucks, especially if you want to go to Miami.

"It's a pretty tough ticket.  That's driven the price up," said Greg Spears with Spears Travel.

Greg Spears says his travel agency was swamped with calls from OU fans on Monday, determined to see their Sooners in Florida on January 8th.

The agency is offering a number of packages that include, among other amenities, a chartered flight, three nights in a plush hotel, and ride to the game.  They are going for about $1,500 to $2,500 a person, and Spears says the demand is there.

"It's such an exciting environment, festive environment, so it's a great way to spend your vacation dollars I guess," said Greg Spears with Spears Travel.

Of course, you'll also need to spend those vacation dollars on a ticket.  OU was given 16,000 of them, but those are already long-gone.  Travel agencies like Spears do have some for about $650 to $750 each.

The News On 6 found some on StubHub.com for as cheap as $500, but experts say big-game ticket prices are volatile.

"It's basically kind of like the stock market.  We're seeing ticket prices fluctuate. Right now we're seeing ticket prices pretty high," said Greg Spears with Spears Travel.

As for OSU, the school's athletic department says it has sold about half of its 11,000 Holiday Bowl tickets.  International Tours of Stillwater is handling travel packages for San Diego.  According to the company's website, those start at $1,695 per person.

Spears says TU packages will be unveiled on Tuesday.  He says the company had already arranged for a number of travel options to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.  But, those plans changed when seven turnovers in a lost to East Carolina on Saturday sent the Golden Hurricane to Alabama instead.

If you want to go all out for the OU game, you can rent a luxury suite.  Those are currently going for as much as $129,000 on StubHub.
