TULSA, OK - Many people from across Green Country are paying tribute to all of our Veterans, both living and dead, for their dedicated service to our country.
Chilly temperatures couldn't even stop celebrations. If fact, thousands gathered in downtown Tulsa on Tuesday to celebrate Veterans Day.
The annual Veterans Day Parade has become a tradition for some families.
They say the parade is an important way to say thanks to our brave Veterans.
The parade began at 11:00 a.m. near 3rd and Main streets.
The parade featured Veterans from past wars as well as those currently in the service. There were also members of military organizations and military vehicles. Everyone also enjoyed music from high school bands as well as marching military groups.
