Victim Dies From Gunshot Wounds

TULSA, OK -- A weekend shooting victim has died.  Tulsa's 41st homicide victim has been identified as 41-year old Billy Ryder. They say Ryder was shot at the Candy Arms Apartments in the 1200 block of South 73rd East Avenue on Sunday.

Tulsa Police say the suspects tried to force their way into the victim's apartment and shot the Ryder when he tried to keep them out.

Police say the suspects were seen leaving the scene in a newer model silver Nissan Maxima or Altima.

Anyone with information regarding this homicide is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
