TULSA, OK -- For 10 years, the county jail has been housing most city inmates free of charge, in exchange for the use of some city assets.
That agreement expires Tuesday, and the county wants the city to start paying about $54 a day for each inmate.
On Friday, the sheriff's office accused the city of upping the ante, by threatening to back out of a long-standing agreement that allows the county to share the Tulsa Police Department's radio system.
