OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A southwest Oklahoma City high school remains on lockdown Friday, four days after a student was arrested for bringing a gun on campus.
U.S. Grant High School has been locked down since Tuesday after 14-year-old freshman Hodauri Latifu McCoy Junior was arrested Monday for having the gun at school.
No one was hurt but McCoy is accused of pointing the loaded gun at one student and threatening others.
Oklahoma City School District spokeswoman Tierney Cook says Superintendent Karl Springer wants strict procedures in place until further notice to show the district's commitment to keeping students safe.
