Opponents of a $2 billion, 12 year street repair package hope one city councilor changes his mind.
The plan passed last week in a 5 to 4 vote. Members of the Tulsa City Council will reconsider their decision at Thursday's council meeting.
City Councilor Dennis Troyer voted for the bigger plan last week, but this week he's one of the councilors asking for the re-vote. It would only take a changed vote from one councilor to throw out the plan that the city's numbers show would fix the most streets for the least amount of money.
Tulsa's mayor is backing a shorter, 5 year plan.
Either plan will have to get the approval of voters before taking effect.
