Police are searching for the person who beat a Tulsa man to death. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports cops need help to catch a crook.
Ricky Furr was assaulted on May 7th in the early evening at 1013 North Quaker. He died nearly three weeks later.
The suspect was a 25-year-old man who was in a yellow or tan vehicle with three other men.
"We're hoping one of those individuals in that vehicle, maybe they didn't see the assault, but, they know what happened and we'd like one of those individuals to give us a call," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.
Police would like to solve this case and are interested in any information they can get, whether about suspects or motive.
"There's a few allegations that someone was owed money, but we don't have that confirmed. If that was the case, we'd like to know that," said Officer Ashley.
Detectives are anxious to solve this case and bring Furr's family some sense of justice.
Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You can stay completely anonymous, but, if your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
