What began as a dream inside an old Tulsa warehouse came to life on Saturday as Tulsa's first brewery since before World War II. Marshall Brewing Company began brewing its first batch of bubbly beer at 6th and Wheeling. They're calling it the "McNellie's Pub Ale."
The owner, Eric Marshall, has been working with a consultant from Germany for several months to help assemble and get the brewery up and running. And Saturday morning, they started the process.
Marshall says he is looking forward to getting the first batch out of the way and sharing his dream with Tulsa.
"Brew number one of what we hope to be many, many brews to come," said Marshall.
Marshall beer will be available in local bars and liquor stores in mid-May.
