Boy Killed In House Fire

A 4-year-old Delaware County boy dies in a house fire.  The fire at a home north of Jay was reported just after 8:30 Monday morning.

The state Fire Marshal's Office reports a mother and her three children were at home when the fire began.  The trailer was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on the scene.

In addition to the 4-year-old boy who was killed, a 2-year-old girl was treated and released at a Jay-area hospital.  No other injuries were reported.

Investigator Donnie Howard with the state Fire Marshal's Office says it appears the fire was accidental but a specific cause has not yet been determined.
