Spring-like storms and snow within one day, it must be Oklahoma. Parts of our area could get as much as 10 inches of snow by Tuesday morning. NewsOn6.com anchor Margaret Stokes reports the City of Tulsa is preparing for winter weather.
From rain to sleet and snow, Tulsans saw it all on Monday. The morning rains created some slick roads. Tulsa street crews have 50 salt trucks on standby in case they are needed during the overnight hours.
"Well, we have our crews in and we're loading up our snow and ice equipment. Most of the spreaders are already loaded. We had a few to load this morning. We're putting on our plows. They're predicting one to three inches of snow and we want to be ready," said Floyd Emery with the Street Department.
