Marques Haynes Day Observed

Oklahoma Senators honor a former Harlem Globetrotter on Wednesday.

Basketball legend Marques Haynes was recognized at the Oklahoma Capitol.  Haynes is a Sand Springs native and was once known as the world's greatest dribbler.  During his 46-year career, he played in over 12,000 professional games.

Wednesday was designated "Marques Haynes Appreciation Day" across Oklahoma.
