Cori Baker's family is asking for the public's help in finding their missing 13-year-old daughter. Cori was reported missing last Friday. Tulsa Police have been searching for her body along the Arkansas River for several days. On Thursday, police released a surveillance picture of Marquis Bullock wearing a yellow polo shirt with blue stripes. Detectives think he was wearing the shirt when he picked Cori up from school last Friday
The News On 6 anchor Omar Villafranca reports on Thursday evening, the Baker family held a candlelight vigil. More than 50 people showed up at the Baker house to show their support for the family. Friends lit candles and said a prayer by a makeshift memorial covered with pictures of the missing 13 year old. Fighting back tears, Cori's dad made a plea for help.
"I need my daughter home. And, I need everyone listening to this broadcast to stop what you're doing and just help,†said Daniel Baker, Cori’s father.
"We have to find Cori. We need Cori home. I can't sleep at night. None of us can sleep at night knowing that she's outside there somewhere, and we need her home. And, we need everybody's help,†said Carrie Baker, Cori’s aunt.
Volunteers are meeting at the Oral Roberts University Mabee Center in the south lobby at 8 am Friday. A search group with the Missing and Exploited Children Foundation is coordinating the search. They plan to scour the Arkansas River for clues.
Tulsa Police need help finding important clues in the case. Police officers are looking for a black purse with a pink Union School logo and a silver CD player.
