SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri State University basketball coach Barry Hinson suspends three players, including one from Oklahoma, who are at the center of a police investigation of stolen property.
Junior guard Chris Cook of Idabel and two other players are being suspended until further notice for what Hinson says in a news release is "their failure to meet our team standards for behavior."
Police say Chris Cook, freshman guard Lamont Austin of Topeka, Kansas, and redshirt freshman David Cline of Springdale, Arkansas were arrested then released Monday after questioning.
No charges have been filed.
Police spokesman Grant Story says the investigation is focusing on an October 12th theft of camera equipment from a car parked at an apartment complex near the MSU campus.
