A suspect in a double homicide tells Tulsa Police he was shown a box containing some disturbing contents. Police say Tony Hall confessed to taking two women, Angela Basset and Angela Hargrove, from a bar to the home of Eric Phillips on October 22. Hall told police he later went back to the house, where the women were dead and helped Phillips wrap their bodies in a tarp and dump them.
Court records say Hall recently told police Phillips had shown him a box containing several, decaying women's fingers, with rings still on them. Police say they searched Phillips' home and found the box, but it was empty.
Tulsa Police say 29-year-old Angela Bassett and 36-year-old Angela Hargrove were found partially clothed, bound and wrapped in a tarp just off the side of the road last month. A driver traveling along 56th Street North made the gruesome discovery after he saw the tarp and stopped to pick it up.
