Services Set For Slain Soldier

Funeral Services are set for a 19-year-old Coweta soldier who was killed in Iraq. Private Cody Carver's family learned of his death last week. Carver's family says he joined the military because of September 11th. He wanted to fight terrorism. He was just out of basic training and in Iraq less than a month when he was killed.

Private Carver's funeral will be Saturday, November 10th at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the Coweta High School gymnasium.
