Oklahoma Easily Handles Rockhurst In Exhibition Game

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Freshman Blake Griffin scored 19 points and Tony Crocker added 17 as Oklahoma beat Rockhurst 93-to-58 in an exhibition game.

Griffin made eight of his 11 shots and the McDonald's All-American forward pulled down eight rebounds in only 21 minutes Wednesday night.

Crocker made all three of his 3-point attempts and Austin Johnson was 4-for-4 on 3-pointers for 12 points for the Sooners, who play their final exhibition game Friday against Fayetteville State.

John Torson scored 15 points and Aaron Hill had 13 to lead Rockhurst, which allowed OU to shoot 70% in the first half and trailed 52-to-32 at the half.
