A six-vehicle accident on the Broken Arrow Expressway Tuesday morning caused headaches for motorists headed into downtown Tulsa. Tulsa Police say the accident was in the westbound lanes of the BA Expressway just east of Yale.
Police say a previous accident farther west on the expressway had caused a traffic slowdown. Police officers say that slowdown caused a westbound motorist to hit her vehicle’s brakes, causing a chain reaction accident.
One person was injured in the accident and taken to a Tulsa hospital.
Because of the accident, Tulsa Police say westbound traffic had to exit at Sheridan while crews cleaned up the accident scene.
