NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma defensive coordinator Brent Venables says the Sooners defense has to improve its tackling.

Venables says, even though OU missed only eight tackles in last Saturday's loss at Colorado, two of those were key.

Both led to big gains including one touchdown.

Venables calls it the worst tackling of the season and he's resolved to not let it happen again.

Tenth-ranked OU plays 19th-ranked Texas on Saturday in Dallas.
