Good Evening,
What a wonderful Sunday! The next few days will remind us more of summer than early fall with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s and gusty south winds.

A surface trough to our west combined with increasing low level moisture and an upper level system nearby may fire up a few showers or storms near the area Tuesday into Wednesday. I’ll keep the probability under a 20% coverage for now. The higher coverage is expected further west and northwest of our immediate area. Model data is hinting at some activity in southeastern OK Tuesday night into Wednesday, but I’ll give this another run before adding coverage Wednesday morning.

Various data is offering varying solutions regarding a frontal boundary near the area Wednesday and also Saturday. I doubt these solutions will hold, but the Wednesday position may have a shot at getting into southern Kansas before moving back north or washing out all together.

Travis will be in the office later tonight and I’ll see you early Monday morning.

Good Afternoon,
The forecast remains on track with warm and breezy conditions expected for the next few days. I'll be updating later this afternoon with some new information regarding the next few days, but no major changes are expected. The next chance for some showers or storms will arrive Tuesday across western OK and Wednesday across part of our area.

Good Morning!

Just like yesterday morning, an area of shower and storm activity is located to our north in Kansas. Movement is mainly east. Unlike yesterday morning, it will more than likely remain north of most of our area. I will keep a slight mention of showers or brief storms for far northeastern OK for the next few hours. This shouldn't be a big deal.

Any clouds will eventually give way to mainly sunny conditions, but a few clouds will of course be possible along with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The pressure gradient will crank up today and tomorrow allowing for gusty south winds from 10 to 25 mph.

The next system will be arriving Tuesday into Wednesday with a slight chance of some showers or storms.

Summer will attempt to hang on with warm and breezy conditions, but we've had a great taste of fall like weather to get us ready for the real deal. The real deal will still be at least a week to 8 days or longer away, so get ready for some warmer air this week.

The GFS is attempting to fire up a surface low in the Gulf of Mexico late this week into next weekend which may eventually have an impact on much of the southern plains. Model data hasn't been very good lately, so we'll play this on the wait and see side for now!

Have a good day.
I'll be in back in the office later this afternoon to update.
