AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ The Texas Longhorns may hate to admit it but they're noticing what's going on north of the Red River in Norman.
The 6th-ranked Longhorns struggled against Arkansas State and didn't score in the first half before rallying past TCU.
Meanwhile 5th-ranked Oklahoma dominated North Texas before dismantling Miami.
Longhorns defensive tackle Derek Lokey says the Sooners are impressive right now but he says that's not something he's focussing on.
Texas and OU meet October 6th in Dallas and both teams have three games between now and then.
