OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma RedHawks get home runs from Nate Gold, Kevin Mahar and Chris Stewart en route to a 6-2 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs.
Mahar led the RedHawks on offense, going 3-4 with a solo homer. Starting pitcher Chris Baker allowed two runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings, earning his fourth victory in seven games.
All of the Zephyrs' offense came off the bat of left fielder Chip Ambres, who had two solo home runs. Zephyrs starter Dave Williams (2-3) gets the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits in six innings of play.
The Zephyrs fell out of first place in the Pacific Coast League American South division for the first time in 29 days.
