The MetLife blimp is visiting Tulsa this week. The blimp is providing aerial TV coverage of the PGA Championship for TNT and CBS. MetLife officials say the blimp is equipped with a gyro-stabilized camera mounted on the nose of the gondola.
When the blimp is not in the air over Southern Hills Country Club, the blimp will be moored at the Harvey Young Airport at 1419 South 135th East Avenue.
MetLife officials say since the airport is a private facility; the public will not be able to get close to the blimp.
