ACHILLE, Okla. (AP) -- A man has died in a small southeastern Oklahoma town after authorities said he was stabbed by his stepson during an argument.

Lawrence W. Holbrook, 43, died Friday night after the confrontation with Shawn Parker, 34, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.

Achille police arrested Parker, Brown said, and asked the OSBI to investigate the incident.

Brown said it is likely some sort of murder charge will be filed against Parker.

Achille is located in Bryan County, about 12 miles south of Durant.
