TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Oklahoma State finishes at number 21 in the Collegiate Baseball poll of the 2007 season that is released Tuesday.
The Cowboys went 42-21 this season and advanced further than any other Big 12 Conference team in the NCAA tournament, losing in the decisive game of a best-of-3 super regional to Louisville.
Ironically, OSU landed three spots behind Arkansas, a teamthat the Cowboys swept twice in Fayetteville, Arkansas, during the NCAA tournament. The Razorbacks finished 43-21.
Other ranked Big 12 teams included Texas A&M at number 14 and Texas at number 17. Wichita State, one of OSU's regional rivals, was number 13.
Voting in the Collegiate Baseball poll is done by coaches, sports writers and sports information directors.
