A Broken Arrow Police officer accused of domestic abuse will not face formal charges. The Wagoner County District Attorney's office says there is not enough evidence to charge Steve Bradley Smith, a 22-year veteran of the Broken Arrow Police Department.

Smith was arrested by Wagoner County Sheriff's deputies at his home earlier this month after his wife called authorities. She claimed he had shoved her to the floor, where she hit her head on a bar stool.

Smith remains on paid administrative leave.
