OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson says charges have been filed against a Norman man accused of defrauding consumers in five states through the Internet auction site eBay.

Thirty-three-year-old Chelsey Christopher Davis faces eight felony charges and one misdemeanor count of violating the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act.

Edmondson says Davis collected more than $10,000 for silver bars and coins he advertised on eBay but never sent the items to the buyers.

The attorney general says five of the victims are from California and the others are from Texas, New York, Georgia and Arizona.
