KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Dee Brown and Desi Relaford doubled during a six-run seventh inning, and the Kansas City Royals rallied from a five-run deficit to hand Tampa Bay its 12th straight loss, 8-to-5.

Tampa Bay is three shy of its longest losing streak in team history. The D-Rays led 5-to-0 in the sixth and Mark Hendrickson was working on a one-hitter before Kansas City closed with a rush.

Dennys Reyes pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the win. He's 4-and-8.
