OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- About the same number of people have been killed on Oklahoma roads this year as last year.

The Department of Public Safety reports that this year, 408 people have died in traffic accidents, compared with 402 at this time last year.

30 people have died so far this month on the roads. That's the same number as at this time in August 2003.
