OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ College football players have reported for pre-season workouts.
University of Oklahoma was down two recruits yesterday when players Chris Patters, a linebacker from Chicago Hubbard and Brandon Braxton from Youngstown Ohio Ursuline, failed to qualify academically.
OU officials say they expect the 15 other recruits to show up.
Players in Tulsa also reported for pre-season workouts. 65 players returned, 35 newcomers showed up for workouts.
Oklahoma State had 85 scholarship players return and 20 walk-ons.
