BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) -- Broken Arrow officials are looking for a jail inmate who walked away from a hospital.

Police say Charles Kenneth Jones left Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa early Saturday morning. He had not been guarded while being treated for a pre-existing illness.

Jones was arrested Thursday for drug possession at his Broken Arrow home and taken to the city jail. An ambulance took him to the hospital after he complained of feeling ill.

Police say no guard was assigned to Jones because the jailer did not notify a supervisor that Jones was being transported.

Officers spent all weekend searching for the 40-year-old. He is not considered dangerous.
