The Calgary Exhibition and Stampede is one of North America's most famous livestock shows.

Each year they hold a livestock auctioneer championship and this year it was won by an Oklahoman. Brian Little a regular auctioneer at the Tulsa Stockyards had finished as high as third before, but this year he won it.

He's been an auctioneer for 11 years and says he just can't see himself doing anything else. "I love the auction business and I love the cattle industry. I grew up in these barns, it's kind of like home to me, I enjoy being here."

The first prize in the competition was $5,500 Canadian, which equals about $3,500 US.

We asked him what he'll do with the money; he said "Well I guess I'll just spend it."
