The News on 6 has a follow up to a story we brought you earlier this week Tuesday about a Tulsa car dealership.

We told you about a woman who paid $1,100 toward a car from Super Wheels and Deals in March. Melissa Lambert never received the title and then learned the dealer had never paid off the previous loan, leaving her without a car and the money.

The dealer, Brandon Shaw, told us he'd make things right within 48 hours. And, he kept his word; he gave her a full refund Thursday afternoon. Since the story aired on the News on 6, we've received a number of complaints against his dealership.

The News on 6 checked court records and learned Shaw has three convictions in Tulsa County for obtaining money by false pretense, which are felonies. He's also facing a number of civil suits. Shaw told us his convictions were nearly 10 years ago and that his company is in disarray right now since he's had to fire 37 employees in the last four months, including one who embezzled $100,000.

He says he's scrambling to cover all his obligations. He said out of the 17 complaints filed against his dealership with the state, 9 were against the previous owner. He also told us his other business, CRC Dealer Services, won an award of excellence from the Better Business Bureau.
