Deputies arrested 19-year-old Quentin Daggs on complaints of murder and attempted rape. Authorities say he admitted strangling his 9-year-old stepsister, Jesse Rogers. Daggs lived in a trailer behind the victim's Pawnee County home.
Authorities say Dagg's planned to kill his father's new family, his step-siblings and step-mother, so his father would spend more time with him.
The victim's mother found her Saturday morning when she went to wake her up. She found her daughter dead, with tape over her mouth and nose. Daggs is being held without bail.
