(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Police in Oklahoma City are hoping new technology will help them solve some old cases.

The Oklahoma City Police Department has started posting brief summaries of unsolved homicides on the department's Web site. Investigators hope the practice will help keep the cases in the public eye and perhaps lead to tips that could solve the cases.

The summaries are posted on the department's Web site -- www.OCPD.com -- under the Unsolved Homicides link.

The police department invites anyone with information to call investigators. A phone number is listed with each posting.
