OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Authorities believe bank robberies here, in Tulsa, Sand Springs and Ardmore were committed by the same man.

A $7,000 reward is being offered for information about the robber, who has struck four times since December, the FBI said.

The most recent robbery occurred Wednesday at a Local Oklahoma Bank in Sand Springs. The robber placed a pistol on the counter before handing the teller a demand note.

He threw a firecracker that set several bags of shredded paper ablaze as he left.

On March 23, the robber struck a Bank of America in Tulsa. During that robbery he placed a pistol on the teller counter as well, the FBI said.

Authorities believe the man robbed American National Bank in Ardmore on Jan. 30. The robber was seen leaving the bank in a white Chevrolet extended cab truck with a bug deflector and brush guard.

Authorities said the same truck was spotted Dec. 11 leaving a BancFirst in Oklahoma City, the first in the string of robberies.

In all cases, the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male with short brown hair, a mustache and a goatee, the FBI said. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 250 pounds.

The man wore a plaid shirt at three of the robberies and usually wears a ball cap.

The FBI is offering a reward of $5,000 and a reward of $2,000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Banker's Association.
