OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A body was found in a burning garage in southwest Oklahoma City early Thursday and police are investigating the case as a homicide, said Capt. Jeffrey Becker.

Firefighters were called shortly before 6 a.m. and found what appeared to be a garage fully engulfed in flames and a large pool of blood, Becker said.

The firefighters then called police and the body was later found inside the building, he said.

``We don't know much about the victim,'' Becker said. ``We don't know whether it's a male or female.''

The body will be sent to the state Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
