Wednesday morning, Tulsa formally announced the winning architect for the Vision 2025 arena.

The city chose Cesar Pelli - who is consulting with Tulsa-based Matrix. Pelli is known globally for impressive structures - including some of the world's tallest buildings and award winning architecture.

A Vision 2025 oversight committee comprised of citizens and city officials heard presentations from four finalists and made a recommendation to Mayor Bill LaFortune, who made the final decision.
