OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A special election will be held in April to fill the vacated state Senate seat of Broken Arrow Democrat Kevin Easley.
Gov. Brad Henry has set the special election for April 6, with the primary on March 9.
Easley announced last week he would be resigning from the Senate Feb. 29 to become general manager of the Grand River Dam Authority. Easley begins his new job March 1st.
