Former CFS president Bill Bartmann and his wife have withdrawn a request for a court order stalling the liquidation of their Tulsa properties.

The Bartmann's attorney says he hopes an appeal filed with the Tenth US Circuit Court of appeals will be ruled on before the sale of their real estate is completed. Bartmann was acquitted of 57 criminal counts of fraud and money laundering charges that led to the collapse of CFS.

A bankruptcy judge determined last July the couple owed more than $20-million to CFS. Bartmann's filed for personal bankruptcy in August.
