A new organization is speaking out about admission changes at two Tulsa Public magnet schools.

TEACH, Tulsa Education and Community Heritage, was formed last week. They say the school board is rushing to end racial quotas at Booker T Washington and Carver. And they want to stop next month's vote on admission changes.

Julius Pegues with TEACH: " All alternatives presented at the forum are so complex that more time is needed to assess their relative merits and long term impacts on Booker T Washington, Carver, and all other Tulsa Public Schools.”

TEACH is advocating an admissions policy for BTW and Carver similar to the one at Edison. It would maintain the magnet program and set aside slots for students living in the surrounding neighborhoods.
