(San Antonio-AP) --Nikki Wojtowicz scored the game winning goal off a free kick in the second overtime to give Oklahoma State its first Big 12 women's soccer tournament title with a 3-to-2 victory over Missouri.
7th-seeded Oklahoma State (15-4-3) earned the Big 12's automatic berth into the N-C-A-A tournament. Eighth-seeded Missouri dropped to 11-10-1.
Missouri scored first with a goal by Elyse Nikonchuck at 9:14 on an assist by Amber Swinehart.
Oklahoma State tied the score in the second period on a goal by Marcela Nova at 56:20 off an assist by Jere Boykin.
Missouri made it 2-1 on a penalty kick by Karen Bauer at 69:33.
Boykin tied it for the Cowgirls with an open goal shot off Jolene Schweitzer's assist at 79:01.
Neither team scored in the first overtime.
Wojtowicz's winning goal at 108:48 came off a free kick 20 yards in front of the goal.
The title match was the first in the Big 12's eight-year history between the two lowest tournament seeds.
