(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The murder trial of a former Oklahoma City insurance salesman resumed Monday in Oklahoma County District Court.

James Pavatt is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy in the November 2001 shooting death of Rob Andrew.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

A 12-person jury was selected last week.

Andrew's wife, Brenda Andrew, is also charged with murder and conspiracy in the case. Her trial is to begin in January.
